Sachin Tendulkar recently applauded Gary Kirsten's role in India's success in NZ. He says, "A lot of credit has to go to coach Gary Kirsten who has allowed the natural instincts of players to flourish.".
He also went on to say, "We've got some seriously talented players. The secret to this success is the players are playing their natural game. That can only happen if the atmosphere is good and the mind is free of any kind of pressure."
I agree with this completely. People need to play their natural game, as much as possible. There will always be situations when you need to adjust and play a different role that you are not used to. But the most successful cricketers tend to follow their natural instincts. And more often than not, that is what works best for a team's success.
