OC vs San Diego 2 2009 Game 2 - Quick Review
4/26: Orange County drove down to San Diego for game 2 of the 2009 season. It was always going to be a tough one with new conditions and a few key players missing. But we didn't expect what happened.
We batted first and made a below par 164 all out. Manjeet was the stand out performer with 56 and Easwar contributed with 33. We didn't apply ourselves enough and ended up losing our wickets.

OC vs Santa Barbara 2009 Season Opener - Quick Review
4/19: Orange County beat Santa Barbara in the season opener today. Inspite of a patchy bowling effort, OC restricted SB to 182 all out. Kartik Raina bowled well and picked up 4 wickets. Lee Williams chipped in with 3 wickets and a run out.
OC chased the required runs in 24.3 overs and 8 wickets in hand with good contributions from Devraj Patel (58), Ajit Sonawane (56*) and Easwar (29*).

Sachin Tendulkar recently applauded Gary Kirsten's role in India's success in NZ. He says, "A lot of credit has to go to coach Gary Kirsten who has allowed the natural instincts of players to flourish.".

Thanks Chriayu. I am 33, recently moved as of this week from florida...played leather ball cricket through college and then have been playing for the last 7 years in corporate leagues and some local leagues in ftlauderdale/miami area. I am right hand batsman and a wicket keeper. I can bowl right arm spin. Have experience in playing regular limited over cricket ( both 20 and 40 overs). Since I am new to the area and don't know anyone here, i am looking to join a cricket club. Let me know if I can come by sometime to watch you guys play or practice. I am located in Northern OC....driving on weekends is fine by me. thanks

He is 8 years old and we have played a fair bit of back yard cricket. I played a little at school, and my friend has played a fair amount of village cricket in England.

Hi Chirayu,
I'm a 17 year old senior in High School. I started playing cricket four years ago. I'm a right-handed top order batsmen (usually #4 for my club and Under-19 NWR) and an off-break bowler. I am a current memer of Santa Clara CC in A-div. and in the U-19 USA reserves.

Hi Chirayu,
I am a 17 year old high school junior. I started playing cricket 3 years ago. I am a left handed top order batsman (usually open for my team) and a right handed medium pace bowler. I am also a useful fielder and my favourite positions are gully and short extra cover.

- Yes, father time is cruel...cant see now, shot selection is gone. I just pick line and length and try to hit it as hard as I can.
